Vijay Antony who is a successful music director had done musical score for over 30 films in tamil ,telugu and kannada also.He had successfully became an actor as well in recent years and given a no.of hit films.pichaikkaaran,the latest film given by him was a massive hit and its telugu dubbed version passed100 days successfully.But why he hesitates to act with top heroines?
In his movies his female lead actors on Naan ,Saleem ,India Pakistan and Pichaikkaaran were Roopa Manjari ,Aksha Pardasany ,Sushma Raj and Satna Titus respectively.His upcoming movie Saithan have Arunthathi Nair and in Yeman the co star is Mia George.Even after he succeeded in acting and being a collection king,he is not interested in acting with top heroines.His explanation is "Budget of my films won't support top heroines and I also wanted to give opportunities for new faces.There will be no problems in callsheets when we stick with newfaces.We can complete the shoot of the films in estimated and short period of time.I beleive in stories not heroines.If the story wanted top heroines and the budget supports for the salary of heroine,I wont hesitate to approach that heroine".
